Woman rushed to hospital after being hit by bus during Glasgow rush hour
Police were called to Dumbarton Road around 6:15pm yesterday
A woman has been hit by a bus in Glasgow.
The incident happened on Dumbarton Road in the city's west end around 6:15pm yesterday.
Emergency services were called and the pedestrian was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15pm on Wednesday, 24 January, police were called to a report of a woman struck by a bus on Dumbarton Road, Whiteinch.
“Police and Ambulance attended and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
