A woman has been taken to hospital after apparently setting herself on fire inside a police station.
A woman has been taken to hospital after apparently setting herself on fire inside a police station.
The incident happened in a public area of the police office in Montrose Street, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, at around 9.55am.
The woman is believed to have suffered burns and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
No one else was injured in the incident, police said.
The front desk area of the police station has been closed to the public.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: At around 9.55am this morning police were called to a report of a woman having been injured in the public area of Clydebank police office on Montrose Street in Clydebank.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Inquiries are continuing.''
