Woman critical after three car Hamilton crash
The 30 year-old has been taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after a three car crash in Hamilton.
Officers were called to the A725 near Hamilton Technology Park around 10:20am today.
A white Mercedes van, green Kia Picanto and a white Hyundai Kona were all involved in the northbound collision.
The 30-year-old female driver of the Kia Picanto sustained serious injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The driver of the Hyundai Kona was taken to University Hospital Wishaw but has since been discharged.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Mercedes van was not injured.
Sergeant Andrew Coutts, Road Policing Unit, said:
“Whilst a number of people have come forward with information about the crash, we are still keen to hear from anyone else who witnessed what happened, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
“Details can be passed to officers via 101. Please quote reference number 0854 of Monday, 27 November 2023 when calling.”
