Woman assaulted on train travelling from Dalmuir to Larkhall
Any passenger on the train who saw anything is being asked to come forward.
British Transport Police have launched an investigation after a woman was assaulted on a train travelling between Dalmuir and Larkhall earlier this month.
It happened at around 7.15pm on Monday 3rd November when a man attempted to choke the woman.
He then got off the train at Blantyre railway station.
A man in his 30s was later arrested on suspicion of domestic assault in connection with the incident.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward and assist with the investigation.
