Witness appeal after King Street brawl leaves man seriously injured

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 38-year-old man suffered serious head injuries in Glasgow city centre, following an altercation.

It happened at 11pm on the 17th of April, when the man became involved in a fight with a group of youths after leaving a bar in the King Street area.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Detective Constable Larissa Cooper said: “This incident took place in a busy part of the city, so we believe there will be a number of pedestrians and motorists who will have seen the attack.

“We are asking for anyone with information or potential dashcam footage to please come forward.

“If you have any information could assist our enquiries, so please call 101, quoting incident 2818 of 6 May.
