17 people are injured, and some are in hospital after the Waverley crashed into Brodick pier on the Isle of Arran yesterday afternoon.
It damaged the bow of the paddle steamer and the charity's confirmed it won't sail again in 2020.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Brodick Pier at around 5.28pm on Thursday.
A coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Prestwick was sent, along with Arran coastguard rescue team.
Karen Mulligan from Glasgow was on board with her partner and suffered minor injuries.
She told Clyde 1: "We were enjoying the last few minutes of what had been a great day.
"As I was walking down the stairs I slipped and fell, and to start with I thought I was being clumsy. Then people on the chairs on the deck below started falling over, and people who were standing up just fell.
"People were just running around trying to see who was okay and help people back up. And then the crew started coming out and making sure everyone was okay.
"There was one man who fell off his chair and couldn't get up. There was a doctor on board who came over and put his arm in a sling and said it was broken.
"There was also a few people who were still lying on the ground on the deck when we were allowed to disembark."
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) has been informed.
The world's last sea-going paddle steamer resumed sailings on the Clyde last month for the first time since 2018 following a multi-million pound appeal to replace its boilers.
The accident came days after the operators announced its season was being extended by a week until 12th September because of strong demand for bookings.
