The family of a missing East Kilbride woman have made an emotional appeal to the public.

The family of a missing East Kilbride woman have made an emotional appeal to the public.

Wilhelmina (Anne) Rooney, 71, of East Kilbride, was last seen leaving her home in Thistle Place at around 10am on Monday 19th January.

Her family say it is completely out of character for Anne to go missing. She is described as white, 5ft in height and of medium build with short great hair, glasses and a ruddy complexion. She was wearing a dark coloured jacket and carrying a purple bag.
