WATCH: No delays on first day of Queen Street station repair works
Despite the warnings about long delays, rail passengers faced little disruption in and out of Glasgow Queen Street station during the so-called rush hour earlier.
Rail passengers faced little disruption on the first morning of major repair works to the line out of Glasgow.
Commuters were warned they face longer journeys for the next five months due to a major upgrade at Glasgow's Queen Street Station but this morning it was quiet.
The station's high-level tunnel, used by Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Stirling services, will be closed for the duration of the £60 million repair project.
Diversions caused by the work mean most journeys will take about 25 minutes longer than usual.
Queues were expected outside the station on Monday as weekday commuters get to grips with the changes but ScotRail said the system worked well.
