Vulnerable Glasgow Pensioner Found Safe And Well

A pensioner who went missing while on a visit to a museum has been found safe and well, police said.

An appeal for help to trace Irene Williamson, 72, was issued after she was last seen leaving the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow at about 12pm on Tuesday.

She had been visiting the site with staff and friends from the care home where she lives.

A statement from Police Scotland said :Irene has been found safe and well and is now back within the care home where she resides.''
