Police Scotland is continuing to appeal for help to trace a vulnerable man who has been missing from the East Kilbride area since Friday 8 June 2018. Thomas Lennox (19) of Airdrie was last seen at Hairmyres Hospital around 7.20pm.

Following enquiries, officers have confirmed a sighting of Thomas on CCTV walking along Victoria Road, Glasgow, around 2.30am on Sunday 10 June 2018.

He is described as 5ft8 in height and of stocky build with short black hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black and grey zipped hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms with writing on the left hand side and red trainers.

Constable Ian Peebles of East Kilbride Police Station said: “Police and Thomas’s family are growing increasingly concerned about his wellbeing and we are appealing for members of the public to help us trace him.

“Thomas has mental health issues and he may be without his prescribed medication. He has not made contact with any family or friends which is out of character.

“He is known to frequent the East Kilbride and Airdrie areas, and we know he was in the south side of Glasgow in the early hours of Sunday morning. We would ask people to please look out for him and report any sightings to police.

“Anyone with information regarding Thomas’s whereabouts is asked to contact East Kilbride Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3972 of Friday 8 June 2018.''
