Voice Winner Set To Top Charts
The Voice winner Stevie McCrorie looks set to top the charts this weekend.
The firefighter's single, a cover of Lost Stars, is currently at number one, according to early figures released before the official countdown.
If the Scottish singer, who has said that his win "feels like a dream'', holds on to his position before the chart is announced on Sunday, he will become the show's first victor to score a chart-topper.
OfficialCharts.com said McCrorie's track was enjoying a lead of 5,000 sales over his closest competitor, Hold My Hand by Jess Glynne.
But it faces competition from new tracks by Nick Jonas and DJ duo Pep & Rash.
The Voice winners have previously struggled in the charts - with Andrea Begley being the most successful when when she peaked at Number 30 in 2013.
For the first time, TV bosses released the official winner's single immediately after The Voice's finale.
