The new £11.5 million Garrowhill Primary School in Glasgow has officially opened its doors.

The state-of-the-art building, which is home to 410 pupils, boasts a host of facilities including 17 classrooms, ICT suite, a dance and drama studio, two gym halls and a 3G pitch

The former school had an external teaching space and vegetable growing area and the finished campus has retained these.

The kids are now growing produce in an orchard and there is an outdoor classroom to learn in.

The new floodlit 7 a-side 3G pitch was constructed on the old school site and is also available for the community to use.

You can see a glimpse of what it looks like in a short video above.
