The Paisley-born actor and his friend Ross King will take part in the fundraiser this April
Holywood hunk Gerard Butler and his friend Ross King are taking part in Scotland's Kiltwalk.
The Paisley-born actor is teaming up with the fellow Scot by setting off from Hampden to Loch Lomond this April.
The pals are urging the people of Scotland to sign up as “every single penny raised from the Kiltwalk will go to the children who need it most in Scotland”.

Whether taking part in the ‘Wee Wander’ (6 miles), the ‘Big Stroll’ (13 miles) or the ‘Mighty Stride’ (26 miles), there is a walk for everyone.
Paul Cooney, CEO at The Kiltwalk, said: “It’s fantastic that the excitement of the Kiltwalk has spread all the way to Hollywood! Gerard Butler and Ross King are both proud Scots and we are incredibly pleased to have them on board to pledge their support for Scotland’s children.
“Each walker will make a huge difference to Scotland’s children and we’re proud to guarantee that 100% of their donations will go directly to the children who need it most.”
With four events in total, walkers can choose from events in Glasgow on April 24, Aberdeen on June 5, Speyside on August 14 and Edinburgh on September 18.
Kiltwalk has raised £2.4 million since 2011 and charities who have benefited include the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (formerly Yorkhill) at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow and Calum's Cabin on Bute which gives respite to the families of terminally ill children.
