The UK's toughest open-water swim is returning to Glasgow's Maryhill Locks.

The Red Bull Neptune Steps challenge sees 200 competitors swim 420 metres in the chilly waters of the Forth and Clyde Canal and navigate 8 tough climbs.

Our Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair tried out part of the course under the supervision of elite Triathlete Con Doherty.
