The Director was on set at the Douglas Hotel to shoot scenes for the eagerly anticipated sequel
Film fans have been gathering in Clydebank in a bid to spot Holywood film star Ewan McGregor on the Trainspotting 2 set.
The crew were shooting scenes at The Douglas Hotel on John Knox Street which has been turned into the fictional Leith bar "Port Sunshine" for the eagerly anticipated movie.
Clyde News spoke to local Liz Grass who met director Danny Boyle.
Clyde News understands Ewan McGregor and Ewen Bremner were on set last night shooting scenes.
