Dozens of drop-off points have been set up across Glasgow and the West where people can leave donations for those caught up in Ukraine as Russia continues its invasion.

A van will leave Glasgow for the Polish border in the next few days with clothes, shoes and nappies.

Here is a list of where you can donate items locally:

Hindu Mandir - West End of Glasgow

Hundreds of bags filled with donations have already been handed into the Hindu temple.

It will be open between 10am-1pm & 5pm-8pm all week.

The Kraken Chippy - Cambuslang

Yesterday we told you that Steven and Mark Simpson who run the Kraken Chippy in Cambuslang want to help by collecting donations for Ukrainians.

Marini's - Uddingston

They also own Marini's on Main Street in Uddingston and staff there are taking in bags.

All items from these collections will be collated by Akshay Goenka, Gillian McCallum and Kasia sebastainowicz.

They are also looking for people to come forward with a van to help get these items to the people who need them the most.
