iPads, Kindles and laptops were also taken from Castlegate Nursery.
They are now working round the clock to get the facility ready for opening at the end of the month.
Manager Tracy Pollock told Clyde News: "It's devastaing. Why anyone would want to target a nursery is totally beyond me.
"It's the first time I've actually been glad we were closed because if that was a normal Monday morning kids and parents would have been coming in to what I came into just 5 or 10 minutes behind me.
"We're working hard to get everything back to normal ready to welcome the children back on the 22nd because our parents need us."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "An investigation is under way following a break in at a nursery in Castle Avenue, Uddingston.
"Police received the report around 10:30am on Monday 1 February, 2021. A number of electronic devices were stolen and enquiries are ongoing."
