Two 21 year olds assaulted in Clydebank
Police are appealing for information after the incident
Two 21 year old men are recovering after an assault in Clydebank on Saturday night.
The incident happened between 11.10pm and 11.30pm on Saturday 28 December on the canal path near Whitecrook Street, when a large group of young people, both male and female, gathered in the area.
Glass bottles were thrown at both men, one was punched in the face, while the other was punched and kicked in the face, resulting in one receiving hospital treatment for his injuries.
Police say enquiries are ongoing, and that officers are working to identify the youths involved in the incident by reviewing CCTV footage.

Detective Constable Georgia Callander said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have any information about this incident to get in touch.
"If anyone saw or noticed anything suspicious, or has any information on those involved, please do get in touch with us.
“In particular, anyone with video footage from around the area that may have captured images which could assist the investigation.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference 3803 of 28 December. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
