Teenagers held after Glasgow disturbance
Two teenagers have been arrested and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident in Glasgow.
Police said they were called to a disturbance at around 3.35pm on Sunday in St George's Road.
The injured man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital while the road remained closed for an investigation.
Two males aged 17 and 18 were arrested.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of a disturbance on St George's Road, Glasgow, around 3.35pm on Sunday 5 July.
"A man has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
"Two men, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested in connection.
"The road has been closed while inquiries are carried out.''
A traffic information bulletin from Glasgow City Council said: "Due to a Police incident St George's Road is closed between Maryhill Road and St George's Place.''
