Two Men Remain In A Serious Condition After Attack

Three men were rushed to hospital after being attacked near a pub in Auchinairn just after midnight on Tuesday.

Three men were hospitalised after a group attack outside a pub.

They had just left the Campsie Bar in the Auchinairn area of East Dunbartonshire when they were assaulted by three or four men at about 12.10am on Tuesday.

Two men aged 60 and 45 are being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary where their condition is described as serious.

A 54-year-old man was released after treatment.

The suspects wore dark clothes and are believed to range in age from late 20s to late 40s.

Police appealed for witnesses following the assault outside the bar on Woodhill Road.

Detective Sergeant David MacGregor said: This was a violent attack which left three men badly hurt and requiring hospital treatment.

Officers are carrying out enquiries, including examining CCTV and speaking to people locally, to establish the circumstances.''
