Two men in court charged with murder in Kirkintilloch

A third man has also been charged and is due to appear in court tomorrow

Two men have appeared in court charged murdering a man in Kirkintilloch.

Robert Cunningham was injured in a flat in Braehead Street on Saturday morning.

The 29-year-old was taken to hospital where he died on Monday.

Robert McSporran, 28, and Christopher Watt, 31, both of Kirkintilloch, were charged with murder at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

They made no plea and were remanded in custody ahead of a further court hearing.

A third man has also been charged in connection with the incident, and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
