Two men arrested after £405000 worth of cannabis seized in Carluke

Two men have been arrested and charged after £405,000 worth of cannabis was recovered in Carluke earlier this week.

Officers searched a premises on Chapel Street and recovered the drugs.

Detective Inspector Scott Robertson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to bringing those responsible for the supply and sale of illegal substances to justice.

“This result underscores our commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and highlights our efforts to disrupt the activities of those involved.
