Two men arrested after children struck by car in Castlemilk

Two men have been arrested, after a group of teenagers was struck by a car in Castlemilk last month.

The incident happened on Stravannan Road at around 3.30pm on Saturday, 24 March.

The men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested as part of a police operation across Greater Glasgow and Lanarkshire that also saw two 19-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman brought in on drugs charges.

Officers recovered substances believed to be amphetamine, cocaine, and cannabis with an estimated street value of £11,000, along with a quantity of cash.

They will now be subject of reports to the Procurator Fiscal.
