Two people dead after being struck by trains in separate incidents
The incidents happened at Bishopbriggs and Kilpatrick stations this afternoon

British Transport Police are confirming that two people have died after being hit by trains in separate incidents near Glasgow.
At around 1:20pm, emergency services responded to a call of a casualty on the tracks at Bishopbriggs station.
Later, officers attended incident of a casualty at Kilpatrick station.
Unfortunately, both people were pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Bishopbriggs station at 1.18pm on 25 May following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
"Officers were called to Kirkpatrick station on May 25 to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the procurator fiscal.”
Train services are running as normal on the Glasgow Queen Street and Croy line after disruption earlier.
However, the lines to and from Balloch and Helensburgh will stop at Dalmuir at this time whilst emergency services still are in attendance.
