Two charged over Paisley drugs recovery

Nearly £233,000 worth of Cannabis plants we found at a property in Seedhill Road

A 52-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Paisley.

Officers attended a property in the Seedhill Road area around 3.20pm on Wednesday, 23 April, 2025, following reports of a possible cannabis cultivation.

A quantity of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of around £232,800 was recovered.

The man and woman were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday, 24 April, 2025.

Constable Alan Kerr said: “This result underscores our commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and highlights our efforts to disrupt the activities of those involved.
