Two charged over multiple Lanarkshire break-ins
Nearly ÂŁ500,000 of items have been stolen
Two men, aged 21 and 33, have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of break-ins across Lanarkshire.
Across the four incidents of theft, the total value of stolen items is estimated to be ÂŁ496,000.
Officers from Lanarkshire Pro Active Crime Team carried out extensive enquiries into the crimes, which took place at properties in Airdrie, Biggar and Lanark, between Thursday, 16 March and Wednesday, 19 April, 2023.
The two men have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and are expected to appear at court at a later date.
