Teenagers charged with attempted murder in Glasgow city centre
A 16-year-old boy was attacked in the city on Friday night
Two 16-year-old boys have been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Glasgow.
An incident is said to have taken place at around 7.50pm on Friday in Argyle Street at its junction with Jamaica Street.
Both teenagers are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Detective Inspector Iain Nelson, from Glasgow City Centre CID, said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
“Officers are continuing to follow other positive lines of inquiry to establish the full circumstances leading up to this assault and trace those involved.”
