Two men arrested following fatal 'hit and run' in East Ayrshire

Two men have been arrested in connection with an alleged hit-and-run in Auchinleck.
54-year-old Kevin Hall and his passenger 37-year-old Douglas Murray were both killed when their white Volkswagen Golf collided with a Volkswagen Scirocco on the westbound B7036 Barony Road at around 4:05pm on Saturday
An investigation was launched after the driver of the Scirocco allegedly left the scene before police arrived.
Officers have now confirmed they’ve arrested two men aged 37 and 45 – who’ve since been released pending further enquiries.
Any drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage that could help police with their investigation are asked to get in touch on 101.
