Two 18-year-old men attacked and robbed in Largs

Two men approached the 18-year-olds on School Street before assaulting one and stealing his watch and wallet

Two 18-year-old men have been attacked and robbed of a watch and a wallet in Largs.

The two men attacked the teenagers around 11.30pm on Wednesday 19th June on School Street.

The suspects left via Lade Street towards the railway station.

The first suspect is described as white, 6ft tall, and of slim build. He has a beard and was wearing blue trousers and a dark coloured jacket.

The second suspect is described as being white, around 5ft 10” tall and of average build. He was wearing grey shorts with a black mark on them and a bright red hooded top with writing across the front.

Detective Constable Daniel Small said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please contact us.

"We believe the suspects were in the Main Street area after the robbery. We are asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.
