Trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow disrupted
ScotRail say services travelling between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh via Falkirk High are being cancelled, delayed or revised
Major disruption on the railway in the central belt this morning.
ScotRail are advising services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh which travel via Falkirk High, as well as trains between the Capital and Dunblane are being cancelled, delayed or revised.
It's as Network Rail investigate reports of a track fault between Edinburgh Park and Linlithgow.
The line has been shut in both directions while engineers investigate.
Replacement buses are being arranged in some instances.
A tweet by the operator said: " Due to a safety inspection of the track between Edinburgh Park and Linlithgow, both lines are closed in both directions. We're sorry for the delays and will keep you updated once we have more information. "
