Traffic Misery In Milngavie Continues

More travel misery for commuters and businesses in Milngavie is expected as disruptive road works are set to overrun by nearly a week. A section of the A81 Glasgow Road's been closed since last month for the construction of a new supermarket leading to mile long tailbacks at peak times.

And we've received a statement from Barr Construction stating “This is a highly complex infrastructure project due to the scope of services being installed around a densely populated area and important road junction. While we very much regret any ongoing disruption, we have teams working extremely hard and are confident that the project will be completed by Monday next week.”
