Three people seriously hurt after a road crash in North Ayrshire

It happened on the A737, between Beith and Dalry, around 7.40pm last night

Police in North Ayrshire are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash involving two Ford Transit vans last night. Two men and a woman were taken to hospital.

Road Policing Officers say it happened on the A737, between Beith and Dalry on Friday, 27 January, 2023.

Around 7.40pm, police were called to the crash involving two Ford Transit vans, one silver and one white, about a mile south of Manrahead Roundabout.

Three people, two men and a woman, were taken to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the crash.

The road was reopened around 1.30am.

Sergeant Stewart Taylor said: “Enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who seen the silver van on the road before the crash took place to contact us.

“I would also be keen to obtain any dashcam from drivers on this area of road around the time of the crash on Friday evening.

“Anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3352 of 27 January.”
