Three people in hospital after Argyle Street "disturbance"

Three people have been taken to hospital after a "disturbance" on Argyle Street in Glasgow during the early hours of this morning.

It remains closed between Bunhouse Road and Sauchiehall Street.

Officers were called out around 1.10 this morning.

Officers were called out to a report of a man and woman injured following a disturbance within a property on Blantyre Street around 1.10am.

Emergency services attended and the man and woman, aged 49 and 48, were taken to hospital for treatment for treatment to serious injuries.

A 76-year-old man was also taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with robbery.

The 76-year-old man has been arrested in connection with serious assault.

Officers remain in the area as they continue to carry out enquiries.
