Three British transport police officers have been assaulted at Stirling train station.

It happened just before 10.30pm last night, when the officers asked a large group to leave the station's car park.

The three officers needed medical treatment, but sustained only minor injuries.

Five people have been arrested in connection.

British Transport Police say they're urgently appealing for witnesses.
