Three people hospitalised and two others hurt in Rutherglen incident
Three people were rushed to hospital and two others were treated at the scene.
Three people have been taken to hospital and another two were injured following disturbance in Rutherglen on New Year's Day.
Emergency crews raced to Pinkerton Avenue around 4.40am yesterday.
A 34-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A 40-year-old man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment.
A man and woman, both aged 38, were treated at the scene.
Detective Constable Graeme Easton said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and a police presence remains in the area.
“I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area and may have dash-cam footage or who may have private CCTV which could help to contact us.”
