Three held after drugs worth 58,000 seized in Glasgow

Two men and a woman have been arrested after police seized drugs worth an estimated £58,000.

Two men and a woman have been arrested after police seized drugs worth an estimated £58,000.

Police made the arrests following intelligence-led operations in Glasgow on Monday August 21.

At around 5pm, officers acting under warrant entered a property in Crowlin Crescent, Cranhill, and recovered a quantity of drugs.

Officers then searched a property in Galloway Street, Springburn, at around 8pm.

Two men, aged 37 and 41, and one woman, aged 29, have been arrested in connection with the seizures.

As a result of both operations, officers seized around 600g of what is believed to be cocaine, with an estimated street value of £24,000, and 650g of what is believed to be heroin, worth more than £34,000.

Two men, aged 43 and 57, were arrested in connection with alleged drugs offences following another operation in the Possilpark area of the city.

All five people are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in due course
