Three charged after cannabis seized in Clydebank

Three people have been arrested after cannabis, worth an estimated £30,000, and a five-figure sum of cash, were seized in Clydebank.

Police raided a property in Henderson Street at around 9:45am on Saturday May 16.

Two men, aged 25, and a 31-year-old woman have been charged in connection.

They are due at Dumbarton Sheriff Court tomorrow.

DCI‎ Ogilivie Ross said: “This was a significant recovery linked with serious and organised crime within Clydebank. I want to reassure people that we will continue to use every tool at our disposal to remove Organised Crime from the community.

“Our work relies on the support of the pubic and we would continue to ask anyone who has any information or concerns about drug misuse to contact Police Scotland on 101 or report anything anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
