'Threatening communication' sent to Asda in Dumbarton

Police are investigating a threatening communication sent to Asda in Dumbarton.

The store at St James' retail park was closed around 7.45pm on Wednesday night.

Officers say there was no threat to the public.

A Police spokesperson said:

“Officers are investigating a threatening communication received by a store at the St James Retail Park, Dumbarton, around 7.45pm pm on Wednesday, 5 May."

"There was no threat to the wider public and enquiries are ongoing.”
