The female race saw Edna Kiplagat win and retain her Great Scottish Run title from last year.
The 10k was won by Ben Stevenson of Falkirk Victoria Harriers with the women's title taken by Jenny Bannerman of Inverness Harriers.
The event started on Friday with pupils from across Scotland taking part in a 1.5k fun run in Glasgow Green.
