Thousands of children in Glasgow and the west supported by Mission Christmas appeal
More than a million pounds has been raised
Clyde 1 is saying a huge thank you to the people across Glasgow and the west of Scotland who supported our Cash For Kids Mission Christmas appeal this year.
More than £1 million has been raised, which will go to over 20 thousand local children to make sure they have a Christmas to remember.
Charity chairman Eddie Hawthorne said: “Many children are going to have a meal, clothes to keep them warm and hopefully a present as well.
“I just can’t put into words what the donations will mean to the children and those who just need a bit of support.
“I would just like to say on their behalf a big thank you to all those who donated. They’re going to have a very different Christmas because of it.”
