Thousands in Paisley for the British Pipe Band Championships
The event is expected to bring in around £300,000 to the local economy.
The British Pipe Band Championships takes place in Paisley later.
Over 4,000 pipers and drummers after expected to descend on the town for the annual event.
The event will feature 123 bands from across the UK.
It take place at the St James Playing Fields, Paisley, on Saturday 18 May from 10am-7pm.
Renfrewshire Council says it is estimated to bring in £300,000 to the local economy.
Last year's event attracted 17,000 people.
