Third arrest made 8 months after death of Paisley man

A third person has been charged with murder 8 months after the death of the Paisley man.

The 23-year-old woman’s due in court tomorrow after 26-year-old Robert Fisher died from horrific injuries suffered in a high rise flat in Maxwellton Street in July last year.

Two men – 25-year-old Cameron Woods and 24-year-old Damon McDowall - are already in custody in connection with his death.

A Police statement reads: “A 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Paisley.

“Robert Fisher, 26, was found seriously injured in the Maxwellton Street area on Sunday, 23 July, and later died in hospital on Thursday, 27 July, 2023.

“The woman is due to appear before Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, 11 March, 2024, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
