Scottish experts host free online wellbeing sessions during lockdown
Three Scottish women are hoping they can help relieve the stresses the pandemic can bring to people's lives by hosting free online therapy sessions each week.
The hypnotherapist, humanology expert and psychotherapist believe they have answers to any concerns which business owners, parents and employers might have right now.
The three women, from Glasgow, Stirling and Linlithgow, call themselves 'The Wisdom Witches' and are holding weekly online video conferences to help others.
Wendy Chalmers Mill, humanology expert, said: "People can come to us and get advice on a multitude of things with regard to being their best selves, and obviously in the space we're in at the moment it's very relevant because there are so many people crying out for help and advice based on the changes that are happening due to the coronavirus."
Louise Scott, psychotherapist, said: "The fundamental idea of the session is that people can join and just ask us questions - so it really is a bit like a Q&A session or an agony aunt session - however you want to think about it."
The three professionals are keen for anyone with questions to come forward and speak up about any concerns they may have - but in particular want to hear from parents with anxieties.
The group believe kids can sense when parents are anxious and problems can be developed from this.
Kathie Reid, rapid transformational hypnotherapist, said: "Parents can cause anxiety in children, and it's imprinted - that means that fear will just grow and grow if the parent's fear grows, so what we have to do to resolve it is to work with the parents as well."
The Wisdom Witches can be contacted here for any more information about their upcoming conference calls.
