The town hall in Alloa has marked a proud moment in it's history with a brand new plaque.
The venue was the first in Scotland to see the Beatles perform way back in 1960.
In the May of that year the iconic band from Liverpool supported Johnny Gentle.
Then known as the 'Silver Beatles' the Fab 4 would then go on to perform in other Scottish towns, mostly in the north of the country.
On the set list that night were covers of Elvis Pressley's I need your love tonight and and Ricky Nelson's poor little fool.
Locals looked to have the plaque installed to commemorate a proud moment in the town's history and to educate others on the little piece of history.
