A man has died in Leith after he suffered serious injuries following a disturbance near a pub in the early hours of New Year's Day.
A man has died after he suffered serious injuries following a disturbance near a pub in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Police were called to a disturbance in Great Junction Street in the Leith area of Edinburgh at around 2am on January 1.
A 30-year-old man was found with serious injuries and taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he died in the evening.
Police Scotland said a boy of 16 and an 18-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
They are expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
