A 16-year-old's in hospital with serious leg injuries after a crash in Glasgow.

The collision involved the teenager's motorbike and an Audi A3 at the junction of Dumbarton Road and Redgate Place in Scotstoun around 10 to 9 on Friday evening.

His condition has been described as stable.

The driver of the car was unhurt. Police are keen to speak to any witnesses.

Sergeant Grant MacIver, Glasgow Road Policing Unit, is appealing for witnesses. He said: "I would like anyone who witnessed the collision and who has not already spoken to police to come forward.

"I am especially keen to hear from drivers who may have dash-cam footage from the street at the time of the crash as that could provide very helpful to our investigation."
