Teenager in hospital in Glasgow following Tollcross crash
It happened around 7.10 last night on Tollcross Road in Glasgow.
An 18-year-old woman has been taken to hospital following a crash in Tollcross on Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the scene of a two vehicle smash on Tollcross Road around 7.10pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.10pm on Tuesday, 10 October, 2023, we were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on Tollcross Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the passenger of one of the vehicles, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“The driver of the other vehicle made off and was later traced. The 40-year-old man was charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“The road was closed while investigations were carried out and reopened around 10.45pm.”
