Teenager charged with Glasgow pensioner murder

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of 68 year old Gordon Bolam on the south side of Glasgow last month.

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a pensioner. Imrich Joni, 19, is alleged to have killed Gordon Bolam, 68. He also faces a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice. Mr Bolam was found dead in his flat in Kenmure Street, Pollokshields on July 14. Joni made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court. He was remanded in custody by sheriff Andrew Mackie and will appear for a full committal hearing next week.
