Teenager due in court after £500,000 of cannabis seized in Govan
A teenager has been charged after the discovery of a large cannabis cultivation in Glasgow.
Police Scotland officers recovered the haul during a raid at an industrial premises in Fairley Street, Govan, on Tuesday.
They recovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £500,000.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
He was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Inspector Scott Simpson at Govan Police Station said: "We will act on information and concerns that we receive from people living in the local community about drugs supply and continue to disrupt those involved in the supply of drugs.''
