Teenage girl assaulted by man in Paisley

A teenage girl’s reported being assaulted by a man in Moredun playing fields in Paisley. The 18 year old was walking at Glennifer Road, near to Donaldswood Road, at around 2am on Monday the 1st of April when she was approached by a man who then assaulted her.
Police saw she was left distressed but did not need hospital treatment.
The man responsible is described as white, around 5ft 8ins in height, and of skinny build. He was wearing light grey clothing.
Detective Sergeant Craig Anderson said: “Our enquiries into the full circumstances of this incident are ongoing.
“I’d appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw a man acting suspiciously or matching the description given, to please contact us.
"I would also urge anyone with dashcam or personal footage to check it in case it holds anything relevant.
“If you have any information at all, no matter how small you think the detail might be, please contact us and let us determine that. Your information could be essential to this inquiry."
